WHAT IS THE PUSH-TO-TALK MAX RESILIENT TWO WAY RADIO NETWORK?

PUSH-TO-TALK MAX is a highly versatile wide area digital mobile two-way radio network. The network is designed for private and public commercial users. An ideal solution for organisations operating across London, the Home Counties and Dorset.

PUSH-TO-TALK MAX delivers instantaneous, secure, encrypted, mission critical, voice and data communications along with GPS tracking, lone worker and man down facilities.

PUSH-TO-TALK MAX provides 90% vehicle radio coverage across its operational area. The network is primarily designed for vehicle coverage but there are large areas across the network that can also provide reliable handheld coverage.

Network Design and Resilience

PUSH-TO-TALK MAX has been built with resilience in mind. The network operates using Motorola’s Capacity Max DMR Tier III technology.

PUSH-TO-TALK MAX is a completely independent communications network solution, the network has been custom designed to operate reliably during localised regional or national power outage events. All of the radio sites have five days battery back-up and are also supported by either fixed or deployable diesel generators. The network is able to operate without interruption for an extended time should the public electricity supply fail.

Deployable Radio Sites

Push-To-Talk Systems has the expertise to supply deployable repeater sites. These sites are supported by trailer masts, battery banks along with solar and diesel generator power sources. These deployable sites are linked back to the PUSH-TO-TALK MAX core network to provide a wide area versatile communication solution. These sites are of particular benefit for providing enhanced handheld radio coverage during events or emergencies.

Microwave Backbone to provide site to Site off grid links

Push-To-Talk Systems are currently developing a program to provide High Frequency radio links to provide a completely independent IP linking backbone to our system. All of our sites are located in strategic locations that have LOS (Line of Sight) to other sites. Once this project has been completed. Our network will be joined together via these radios links and we will be able to offer an even more resilient wide area communications solution never provided on VHF before.

Installation & Enhanced Coverage Solutions

Push-To-Talk Systems have been in business for the last 17 years. We have our own radio vehicle installation engineers that can install our resilient radio equipment in vehicles for any requirement. We also have our own antenna installation and network engineers that can design and install bespoke handheld and enhanced resilient coverage solutions for any requirement.

Can I upgrade my current VHF Motorola radios to work on the PUSH-TO-TALK MAX Network?

If you currently own Motorola VHF DM4000 Series radios or DP4000 Series radios, these are compatible with the PUSH-TO-TALK MAX network. A simple firmware upgrade and Capacity Max software licence key are required to enable the radios work on the PUSH-TO-TALK MAX network. There is no need to purchase new radio equipment. Your radios can then operate across the entire network. Push-To-Talk Systems can upgrade this on site at your premises or at our workshop.

AES 256 Encryption

PUSH-TO-TALK MAX supports AES 256 encryption on all radios. This gives organisations using the network peace of mind that no one can listen in when confidential information is being relayed across the radio network.
